Workshop: Cancer Transitions

Cancer Transitions is a six session workshop designed by CSC and Livestrong to help cancer survivors make the transition from active treatment to post-treatment care. Working in partnership with expert panelists the program will explore exercise that is tailored to each participant's abilities, managing the stress, eating well, and more.
For adult survivors with any cancer diagnosis who have completed treatment within the past 24 months.

Adults and teens only please--childcare or family meetings may be arranged with prior notice.

This Hatha Yoga class emphasizes grounding, breath awareness, focus, and slow gentle movement. The exercises can be modified for different physical abilities. The class also incorporates a bit of yoga philosophy as well as a beginning & ending meditation.
