Rev. Jody Whelden, BCC.- How do we use our heart and own body intuition to help us heal? In this talk/discussion Jody Whelden, hospital chaplain, will share her holistic Spirituality of Illness model and offers us body/heart awareness and tools. We will explore using heart-intelligence, as well as the body/mind’s intuitive-reasoning for recovery. People leave with a broadened perspective on a heart/body/spirit path. This experiential presentation includes stories and discussion.

For members touched by breast cancer who wish to share their stories, challlenges and resources with others. Both women and men are welcome.

"Look Good…Feel Better" is a free, non-medical, brand-neutral, national public service program created to help individuals with cancer look good, improve their self-esteem, and manage their treatment and recovery with greater confidence. Space is limited to 10 participants.

"Being Mortal" delves into the hopes of patients and families facing terminal illness. The film investigates the practice of caring for the dying and explores the relationships between patients and their doctors. It follows Dr. Atul Gawande, a surgeon, as he shares stories from the people and families he encounters. When Dr. Gawande's own father gets cancer, his search for answers about how to best care for the dying becomes a personal quest.
