B-Connected Live Event CLL Lecture (OPEN TO THE PUBLIC) Location: Gilda's Club Madison 7907 UW Health Ct, Middleton

Join us to hear a patient story of living with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL)! At this event you will get a Healthcare Provider’s perspective on living and coping with this disease and disease management strategies. You will also hear about understanding the importance of taking an active role in your care and get tips on working with your healthcare team. There will be a time for you to participate in a Q&A session with both the Healthcare Provider and the B-Connected Patient Ambassador Doris as well.

Jean Ridgeway, NP is currently an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the department of hematology/oncology at the University of Chicago Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.

Doris is a B-Connected Ambassador who has been living with CLL since 2012. She currently lives in Texas with her husband and caregiver Henry and their two adult sons. She is a retired auditor for a Fortune 500 Communications Company, and in her free time she enjoys spending time with her grandson and being involved in her church community.

A light dinner will be served.
