The Catacombs of Neto

207 E Buffalo St, Ste LL18, Milwaukee, WI 53202

Find a moment of peace and creative expression in a space designed just for you. Join us for a mini-retreat at The Catacombs of Neto, a vibrant art gallery nestled in Milwaukee's Third Ward.

This retreat offers a gentle escape, a chance to reconnect with yourself and your community through the restorative power of yoga and reflective journaling. We'll begin with a 30-40 minute yoga session, designed for all levels, to gently release tension and cultivate mindfulness. No prior yoga experience is needed—simply come as you are.

Following yoga, we'll transition into a time of guided journaling, using creative prompts to explore your thoughts and emotions in a safe and supportive space. This is an opportunity for self-expression and connection, and no writing experience is required.

After our journaling session, we'll share a delicious, healthy lunch. Weather permitting, we'll enjoy an optional, gentle stroll along the scenic Riverwalk.

Who: This event is for young adults (ages 18-45) that have been diagnosed with cancer before age 40—any stage, any cancer, anywhere in your cancer experience.

What to bring:

  • For Yoga: Comfortable clothing and your own yoga mat if possible (a few mats will be available upon request). Please bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.
  • For Journaling: Your preferred notebook and writing materials, or use the supplies we'll provide.
  • For Optional Outdoor Activity: Please bring comfortable walking shoes and layers to enjoy the fresh air

This event is offered free of charge, with limited space for 15 participants. Registration is required to secure your spot.
