Knitting can decrease stress, increase self-esteem, and improve focus and memory. It is not about performance or perfection. Gilda's KnitKarma Club serves as a welcome opportunity to experience the health benefits of knitting while finding friendship
along the way.
Bring your own project, or we have yarn, needles and ideas. All skill levels are welcome.
From our instructor Shari Porte "I began knitting in my 30's. Over the years, I have knitted many sweaters that are a bit oversized, scarves that are a tad too long, and gloves that are fingerless. I am an above average knitter but not a master knitter. Present day, I like to keep it simpler and knit straightforward scarves while I stream. I am looking forward to meeting up with other knitters, marveling at their choices of color and texture, and helping to rescue a dropped stitch or two :-)"
