Creating and Using Mindfulness Jars

We will be creating a Mindfulness Jar (also called a Glitter Jar) and using breathing and mindfulness activities to calm our bodies and minds. Mindfulness Jars help us visualize our brains and our thoughts – and help make connections between thoughts, actions, and words. These jars can be a powerful visual metaphor for mindfulness – the cultivation of stillness in the face of the swirling challenges of life. This is a fun activity that can also be done with children of all ages. Children age 4 and up are invited to attend this workshop with an adult.
