Palliative Care: We’re the Umbrella, Not the Rain (PUBLIC)
Location:
Community Room, Gilda's Club, 7907 UW Health Ct., Middleton
Living with cancer affects your mind, body, and spirit, particularly when it’s advanced and impacting your quality of life as well as impacting your caregivers. Palliative care can help alleviate some of the stress and burden of advanced cancer by providing expertise and care in symptom management, caring for mind and spirit, and helping you and your family navigate difficult decisions and conversations. Join us for an informal discussion about what palliative care is, how it can help you, and ways you can access palliative care support in your community.
