Parenting Through Cancer Networking Group
Are you in a caregiving role for a child affected by cancer? Our Parenting Through Cancer Networking group is a valuable forum for not only parents with a cancer diagnosis, but also co-parents (including those who are divorced or who have lost a partner to cancer) and family members who caretake children who have a parent with cancer.

Having a cancer diagnosis is difficult. Addressing it as a family and helping children through the experience can be even more challenging. Connect with other parents on topics such as talking to kids about cancer, maintaining a sense of normalcy, setting boundaries and expectations, adjusting to new schedules and responsibilities, balancing self-care and the heightened needs of your children, and the affects of cancer on your relationship with a partner and other family members.

Supervised play and organized activities for children are provided during the group. If you plan to bring children, please register them for Kids Play (a separate event) so we can plan accordingly.
