Sivananda Yoga Location: Gilda's Club, Middleton

Sivananda Yoga is for everybody. It is a non-competitive classical style whose focus is on deep breathing, rejuvenation, relaxation and gentle stretching.  

In this 6 week class, you will learn the traditional sequence which includes gentle warm-ups, the foundation asanas (postures), meditation and Pranayama breathing which is designed to recharge the your body with fresh oxygen to help balance your mind and hormones.

This class is geared toward the beginner (or advance student interested in a more traditional approach) with an emphasis on adapting the postures to your specific needs.
