Skin is our largest organ. Learn how to have “Smart Fun in the Sun”. Dr. Y. Gloria Xu will discuss skin protection, and give an overview of potential areas of concern.  Dr. Mark Albertini will share “New Insights for Treatment of Metastatic Melanoma in 2017” and will describe how the immune system can be activated to fight against melanoma.

Y. Gloria Xu, M.D., PhD, Associate Professor of Dermatology, University of Wisconsin: "Smart Fun in the Sun". Dr. Xu will talk about sun protection, correct use of sunscreens/blockers and other means to protect one from sun rays, and perhaps a brief overview of skin lesions that are of concern.

Mark R Albertini, M.D., Associate Professor of Medicine, Division of Hematology/Oncology, University of Wisconsin: "Treatment Advances for Metastatic Melanoma for 2017". Dr. Albertini will talk about innovative new treatments for patients with advanced melanoma.
