1.  How does Gilda's Club Madison utilize the contributions?

Funds raised through Gilda's Run stay local to provide free emotional support and cancer education for families facing cancer today. To learn more, please email lannia@gildasclubmadison.org, visit our website at GildasClubMadison.org or visit our review on Guidestar.

2.  Is my Information secure?

Yes, Gilda’s Club Madison has made every effort to protect your information. We use the latest industry-standard SSL encryption techniques to make sure that your credit card information, passwords, and personal information travel securely over the internet. 

3.  Is a portion of the registration fee a donation?

The pre-event price does not have a tax deductible value. If you register on the day of the events, $10 per registrant can be claimed as a donated value.

4.  Can friends and family make a donation to a participant by going through the main website?

Yes – the more, the better!  On the home page of the website, friends and family can locate a participant by clicking on Find Someone’s Page.  By typing in the name of the participant, you will be directed to their personalized run page. The Donate button on that person's page will take you directly into donating to their personal fundraising goal.

5.  How can I see who has made a donation on my personal page?

Log into your personal page using your username and password to view your Donor list and the amounts that have been donated. (Unless they opted to give anonymously!)

6.  What should I do with cash and/or check donations that I receive?

As you fund raise, you may receive cash and check donations in addition to online donations. When logged into your personal page, you will find an Offline Donations link located under the Participant Tools section. In order to apply the cash/checks amounts to your online fundraising total, you need to enter the donor information and amount using that page, and then mail the donations to Gilda’s Club Madison no later than 7 days after they were received. Once a donation is processed in the office, the donation status will be updated on your Offline Donations page and the amount added to your page total.

Mail cash/checks to Gilda’s Club Madison, 7907 UW Health Ct, Middleton, WI 53562. Please be sure to include your full name and team name if applicable.

7.  I forgot my username and password.  How can I find out what they are?

Don’t you hate when this happens?  Remember that your username is the email address used to register and your password is case sensitive.  On the login screen, click on the “I don’t know my password” link to find your password. You will receive an email with your username and password.

8.  What is a Relaxed ‘Racer’?

Great question! Our Relaxed ‘Racer’ is for those individuals who want to support Gilda's Club, want a Gilda's Run shirt, but don't want to run or walk the course. This is a paid registration that entitles you to a Gilda's Run t-shirt but you can sleep in and plan to join us at approximately 11:30am for Ruth’s Chris Burgers, Culver’s sundaes, music and tons of fun!

9.  Can I register more than one participant at a time?

Yes, you may register more than one person at a time but you must provide all names at the time of registration. You are able to add more registrations at a later date (see #10 below).  

IMPORTANT:Do not use the same email for more than one individual. Leave email field blank if there is no separate email to enter. Families will be able to manage kid profiles upon completing registration.

ADDITIONAL REGISTRATION INFO (date of birth, shirt size, gender and more)
Once names have been entered, the next screen will provide an Additional Registration Info  button for each person registered.
If you have not entered a separate email for other registrants, you MUST complete their information at this time.
If you entered a separate email but cannot complete the info for someone else, the individual will receive an email with a link to complete their own info.

10.  How do I make additional online registrations?

Simply Login to your Gilda's Run account:
If you previously registered only yourself, use the Register Additional People button found under Participant Tools.
If you previously registered a group, use the Register More People found at the top of your Family/Group Registration Status box.
Once additional registrations are complete, click Send Instructions (under Participant Tools) to send email instructions for new registrants to create their profile on the Gilda's Run website.

11.  Who can I call or contact if I have questions about Gilda’s Run?
